Pacific Great Eastern, part of the Canadian National today, but the line was incorporated in 1912 and was a money losing operation until the end of WWII and with government funding helped to expand the PGE by several hundred miles and it continued to grow throughout the 1980s. By this time the name was changed to British Columbia Railway.
